**Statement of Purpose**
In accordance with directives from providers, coordinates and administers nursing care for medical patients of all ages who present to the practice for care. Participates in providing informational education to patients or caregivers. Contributes to the assessment of the health status of the individual. Participates in the development and modification of the strategy of care for individual. Participates in the evaluation of responses to interventions. Maintains safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly. Works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the physician office setting.
**Job Requirements**
Vermont LPN or RN License- 1 – 2 years clinical experience in an office setting preferred. Understanding of medical and social aspects of chronic and acute disease affecting patients. Computer Literacy: Patient charts are maintained in an electronic format. Documentation requires understanding of program or ability to learn and comprehend. Able to work in a busy office and maintain a co-operative and professional attitude. Ability to greet and interact with the public in a tactful, compassionate manner.
