**Statement of Purpose**
The Infection Preventionist/Employee Health Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of effective infection prevention and employee health programs at North Country Hospital, and manages the organization’s workers’ compensation program. This individual functions as a researcher and educator, and provides direction and regulatory guidance in these focus areas. The Infection Preventionist/Employee Health Specialist reports to the Director of Quality/Patient Safety/Risk.
**Job Requirements**
1. BSN or Med Tech (MT)
2. Current Vermont RN license, or MT
3. Three recent years hospital nursing or MT
4. Previous infection control experience desirable, C.I.C. preferred, C.I.C. expected within 3 years of hire.
