Hospital Diversion Program of NFI Vermont, located in South Burlington, is a short-term inpatient facility for adolescents experiencing acute psychiatric crisis. Our skilled trauma-informed team of mental health workers provide our residents with crisis stabilization, clinical consultation, and individual treatment planning in a small and safe setting. We are looking for dynamic residential counselors to join our team.
Residential counselors provide supervision and support to adolescents during awake hours, complete client intakes, and performs administrative duties. This is an excellent entry-level position with opportunities to advance with the agency. Ideal candidates will have two years of experience working with adolescents or a bachelor’s degree, superior interpersonal skills, and function well in a team setting.
This 20-30 hr/wk position is scheduled for Wednesday through Saturday, with a pay range of $20.50-$23 per hour, depending on experience. Positions of 30+ hours a week are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, which includes tuition reimbursement.
