NFI Vermont is seeking a results driven and experienced IT Service Manager to support the IT initiatives at NFI Vermont. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting a windows-based network.
Specific duties include:
· Lead and refine technical support team
· End user support and training
· Setup and configure computer hardware and software, maintain ticketing system
· Network support
· Maintain servers and network hardware, maintain written technical documentation
· Ensure client satisfaction by overseeing service desk operations, setting goals, and addressing issues
· Attract, mentor, and retain talent, actively participating in recruitment
· Efficiently manage service requests and optimize resource utilization
· Enhance team productivity, collaboration, and mitigate risks for successful service delivery
· Continuously improve customer satisfaction and address feedback
**What we’re looking for in our IT Service Manager:**
Experience with MS Office Suite, Exchange email, Windows 10, IBM and Dell PC/Laptops, Chromebooks, Mobile device management and network printer management required. Experience in administration of Windows servers 2012 and 2019, Firewalls and access points desired.
· Progressive, related work experience
· Proven IT management experience
· Advanced education (Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, or related field desired)
· Current and relevant IT certifications
· Strong computer and troubleshooting skills
· Top-notch organizational skills and keen attention to detail
· Efficient multitasking and adaptability under pressure
· Superior interpersonal skills, maintaining composure in stressful situations
· Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
· Demonstrated mentoring and leadership capabilities
· Demonstrated aptitude for learning and applying complex technical and theoretical information
· Excellent professional communication and demeanor
· Travel throughout Vermont required
